StARS Learning Collaborative Featuring the LTC Data Cooperative

Wednesday, November 5, 2025 | 1 PM CT / 2 PM ET

The State Alzheimer's Research Support (StARS) Center is excited to host a webinar featuring the Long-Term Care Data Cooperative, a project that is assembling electronic health record data from assisted living and skilled nursing facilities who voluntarily join. The data cooperative’s goal is to provide data that will help evaluate policy changes, care practices, and other interventions. When linked with CMS claims data, the data cooperative will be able to track care utilization before, during, and after a stay in either long-term care setting. In addition to describing the cooperative, the program will highlight its value in dementia program evaluation and comparative effectiveness studies.

Presented by:
  • Stephanie M. Kissam, MPH Executive Director, Long-Term Care Data Cooperative American Health Care Association

  • Vincent Mor Professor of Health Services, Policy & Practice and the Florence Pirce Grant University Health Brown University School of Public Health
